We were really excited by the outcome of mom’s surgery today. The doctor said that as far as he could tell, from testings done today, that the cancer was not in her lymph nodes. What a praise!!! The doctor informed dad that he was really pleased with how everything went today and that mom’s treatment will be based on what the pathology report says.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for all of your prayers and support today. Even though she is pretty out of it and feeling a little uncomfortable mom was able to come home tonight. She wanted to make sure that I was able to update the blog and let everyone know that God is good and that she truly appreciates all of your prayers and support.
Until she is able to tell you herself, THANKS again for loving our mom and our family the way you do.

Debbi, I spent the day at attending two conferences at the Spertus Institute in Chicago today, feeling close to you and our heavenly Father. His mercies endure forever, His love never ceases, His plans for you are for success to give you a future and a hope. He has called you by name, you are His. Be still, rest and know that He is God.

Great News Indeed! Vauna and I were so glad to hear the news and want you to know that you are still on the prayer list and we think of you often. "You go Girl!"
We were thrilled to hear the good news. Steve and I have been praying for you and Bill, and you know I am proof positive of the power of prayer (7 years cancer-free now). I found that a cancer diagnosis was harder on the spouse/family than it was on me. I just had to put it all in God's hands and work on getting well, whereas Steve worried. Yeah, you have to go through some rough treatments, but you just take it one day at a time.
